The rooms were very clean and so were the sheets and towels..No breakfast but they provided a kettle which enabled us to have our breakfasts in the privacy of our rooms with what we had brought on the first day and also bought at the mercato for the following days. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which we enjoyed. We were given airy, sunny upper floor rooms as we had requested in advance. Vatican City and Museum were within walking distance, and so were the other prominent museums, though a bit farther. The staff did their best to provide info for all kinds of enquiries. No need for a taxi to reach the hotel from San Pietro Station.

I absolutely loved the location because it is close to Vatican City and a bus and train line. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when I asked questions about the places I was going to visit in Rome. As I’m writing this review, I am max at myself that my memory is not working and I can’t specifically remember the staff names. However, I want to reiterate how helpful they were to me and my niece. I will definitely recommend this hotel. I also loved walking up the 91 stairs to get to the top from the bottom of the street. I exercise regularly and used those stairs as part of my exercise regiment while there.

Nice, tiny hotel on a side street in an unexpectedly quiet and I think safe corner of the city just aside the Vatican. Reasonably connected during daytime by train railway and buses at walking distance, however beware that you need to climb up and downhil to reach the hotel by foot. Not very modern but lovely room with small fridge and a tiny bathroom in my case, reachable through a lift. Nice, freely available terrace with views. This hotel has a 24/7 doorman service, handling room keys and security.

Luigi

The location was accessible to train stations and we were able to walk (we are hikers) to main tourist spots including Basilica etc. Nice rooftop to have an overlooking view of the city amidst the busy location. Bedroom and bathroom was pretty fair and you can tell they clean them. There was a nice local coffee shop walking distance to it that serve really good coffee and pastries where we almost everyday dropped by for a quick breakfast before we head out for our day tour.

Mark

Nice place within a mostly residential district, near to a railway station and busses. Friendly staff, quiet on the whole, smallish room but enough space for one. A bit weird that the bathroom door could not entirely open due to the facilities.... How does that get passed by building inspectors? No complaint, it has all you want from a hotel room, even a balcony.
